Welcome Women!

Women's Ministry at Joy desires that all women experience life to the fullest as believers in Jesus Christ. We offer a wide variety of opportunities to encourage women in their spiritual growth and help them connect with others. It is our goal that every woman be: embraced by God's grace, empowered by His Spirit, established in His Word and engaged in serving others.

For more information about events call our Director of Women's Ministry, Ginny Wheeler (623-561-0500 x253), or the Administrative Assistant, Linda Swanson (623-561-0500 x382) or stop by our Women's table on the weekend.

to meet their needs. Babies and toddlers will enjoy loving care in the
nursery, located in Kid Kountry. *Because of State law, we can only provide
childcare for children with mothers or grandmothers on campus.

Precious Moments Bible Study/FellowshipThursday mornings starting at 9:15 AM in Building 7. The morning kicks off with a time of fellowship, refreshments, worship and features a special word of inspiration. At 10 AM we offer a choice of three Bible studies:

Christ the Healer
Led by Lynette Vatsaas
This class is based on a classic book on healing written by F.F. Bosworth. The book is based on a series of his sermons revolving around the promises found in God's Word concerning healing. Bosworth believes that before attempting to exercise faith for healing, one needs to know what the scriptures plainly teach, that it is just as much God's will to heal the body as it is to heal the soul.

Faithful Abundant True
Led by Judy Price
Join Kay Arthur, Pricilla Shirer, and Beth Moore for this versatile study which is made to fit women's busy schedules. God is faithful. His provision is abundant and His promises are true. As a Bible study, participants will watch the video sessions and unpack the rich teaching through Scripture study and personal application. This is a 6-week study and will be followed by Pricillia Shirer’s “He Speaks to Me”.

The Power of a Praying Woman
A Stormie Omartian series led by Carol Campbell
This series focuses on drawing closer to God, discovering His plan and purposes for our life and receiving comfort, help and strength for everyday living. Stormie invites us to join her in learning to trust God with the concerns of our heat, and discover the awesome power that prayer releases as we make it a priority in our lives. Workbook: $15.

Wednesday Evening Women’s Bible Study

Starting January 11 at 7 PM in Room 303-304
“He Speaks to Me” A Pricilla Shirer Bible study led by Laurie Gannon and Ginny Wheeler. The study starts at 6:45 PM in Building 3.

Pricilla is a gifted speaker and teacher. Her desire is to see women not only know the uncompromising truths of Scripture intellectually but experience them practically. In this study Pricilla shows us how God spoke to Samuel and how H speaks to Christians today. The Lord desires to speak to us personally. He wants to meet us where we are despite who we are and reveal His will for our lives today.

Note: You are invited to join us in the Worship Center for C-Life: catered dinner (provided for a nominal charge) available from 5:30 - 6:30 PM) followed by praise and worship at 6:30 PM.

Women’s Support Groupfor those battling depression and/or anxiety. Led by Misty Adame. Isaiah 26:3: Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusts in thee. We will begin with a brief word from scripture, open the group to discuss the topic of the day and how it may be an area of strength or struggle, allow the group to process, and close in prayer and worship. Wednesdays at 7 PM in Room 2003 starting September 15. Contact Misty at md_adame@hotmail.com.

3-D (Diet, Discipline and Discipleship)Led by Sharon Gallego at 9:45 AM in Room 302. If you are on a journey of reclaiming your life for God, or rediscovering your true self after a period of living “out of control” in some way, you may need this wisdom! Learn how to make every day a new beginning. We will be using “Jesus Calling”, a Sarah Young devotional, in conjunction with the 3-D study.

Women's Bible StudyLed by Sharon Gallego at 11:00 AM in Room 302
