A Resale Boutique Where the Hunt is Part of the Fun!
Joy Thrift is a quaint little resale thrift store located on the campus of the Community Church of Joy and Joy Christian School. It’s just North of the 101 Loop at 75th Avenue, making getting there easy from any part of the Valley. The store receives donations from the church and school families as well as the surrounding Arrowhead community, and all donations are tax deductible.
For a thrift store the merchandise is in remarkably good condition with many items never even worn. The children's section is especially good and clothing from infant sizes through high school is available. The largest section is women's clothing, from Small through 3X, but we also have men's jeans and dress shirts, plus shoes and purses for everyone. The housewares department has an unusual collection of glasses, china, serving dishes, and home décor, and there is a scattering of furnishings and lamps available too. The merchandise changes daily and you never know what you will find when you visit. That, of course, is part of the fun.
Revenue generated goes to support church and school ministries and donations not used at Joy Thrift are passed on to a variety of community ministries. Almost nothing goes unused because every item is sorted and passed to some organization. Special sales appear periodically.
