Everyone at Joy is encouraged to take part in Disciple U! Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings offer a variety of courses that provide the tools you need to live a joy-filled, healthy life based on faith in Christ. The teachers are experienced leaders who have demonstrated a vibrant faith and a desire to help others along their personal faith journeys.

The Truth Project

Focus on the Family’s The Truth Project is a powerful small group curriculum
consisting of 12 DVD lessons that are viewed and discussed over the course
of 13 weeks. The study is a starting point for looking at life from a
biblical perspective. Each lesson discusses in great detail the relevance
and importance of living the Christian worldview in daily life. Also available on Sunday mornings.

The Book of Luke

The Beginning and the End

A critical look at Genesis Chapters 1-11 with an emphasis on both the historical and doctrinal significance of the Creation and Flood accounts. This is followed by an in-depth look at end times prophecy as it applies to creationism, doctrine, and contemporary Christian living.

Confirmation
Teacher: Ryan Senters| 11:15 | The Bridge
Confirmation is a spiritual journey for students to dig deeper into their faith and discover God’s unconditional love that he has for His children through Jesus Christ. Through this eight-month confirmation process students learn about their Christian identity and confess their faith as their own! They learn core Christian principles and develop their own testimony to share with the rest of the world. Confirmation is open for 9th - 12th graders and takes place during the Sunday Morning Surge.
