We sincerely strive to do whatever we can to help families where financial needs exist. Each year our school has a limited amount of tuition assistance funds that are available to help families who demonstrate additional need beyond the already discounted tuition. These grants are available only to those who go through the financial assistance process.

Tuition Assistance Process

1. Complete and return the Tuition Assistance Grant Application.pdf to Joy Christian School.
2. Complete the "FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment" - We use a third-party service — FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment — for the determination of each family's financial need. The information that you provide on the Tuition Assistance Grant Application will generate a confidential report by FACTS which will then be sent to our Joy Christian Financial Grant Committee. This report will provide a recommended amount of assistance; however JCS Grant Committee will make the actual grant determination.
3. FACTS sends the processed assessment to Joy Christian School.
4. JCS Financial Grant Committee reviews all applicants and determines grants.
5. Application deadlines are April 15 and October 15.

Arizona Tax Credit Opportunity Available to Kindergarten through High School Students
We encourage all JCS families to become familiar with and utilize the Arizona Tax Credit opportunity available to us each year. This program allows others to help with tuition costs for your child with a direct tax credit. Although there are many tax credit organizations, JCS primarily utilizes the Arizona Christian School Tuition Organization. Information is available in the School Admissions Office or at www.acsto.org.

Arizona Corporate Scholarship Tax Credit -Kindergarten through High School
We encourage all families, who are considering Joy Christian School for the first time, to become familiar with and utilize the Arizona Corporate Scholarship Tax Credit available through School Choice Arizona, Inc. This program allows corporations to help with tuition costs for your child with a direct tax credit. Information is available in the School Admissions Office or at www.schoolchoicearizona.org.
