A world-class facility dedicated to our youth

We have been promising our teens and families that a facility dedicated for their use would be our next priority, and we have been receiving gifts toward that goal for the past four years. So this is not a new project, but the completion of a vision that has been in the works for quite some time.

This center, named The Crossing, will reach and attract teens through entertainment, sports events, and food facilities. In addition, The Crossing will be a place for community teenagers to connect after school and on the weekends.

The Crossing will be far more than just a gathering place. It will be a place in which our young people come to develop their life values. At The Crossing, they will establish friendships with other like-minded young people — friendships that in many instances will form the basis for lifelong relationships.

The Crossing will create an environment to:

• Attract a multitude of teens by offering a safe, positive place to go for fun and friendship.

• Care for the spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical needs of teenagers.

• Invite teenagers into a relationship with God.

• Support healthy relationships between teens and their family members, their peers, and their community. We desire to bring the whole family back together. In a world that pulls families apart, this place will help teens and their families build bonds of love, creating memories that last a lifetime.

• Equip teenagers to become lifelong learners and servant-leaders. We plan to build people through people. The strength of The Crossing will be its team of caring young adults and parents who invest themselves in serving and mentoring the youth.

• Fulfill Joy’s mission “that all may know Jesus Christ and become His empowered followers.” Our community is exploding with youth who are searching for spiritual meaning and relational connection, and The Crossing meets this need.
