Welcome to the Fine Arts Department at Joy Christian School!
God, the creator of all, in his infinite wisdom, knew that He had designed human beings to be multi-faceted. On one side, we use our brains to analyze, to calculate, to memorize and function in a very logical manner. On the other, we feel emotion, we create, and we imagine. Joy Christian School believes that we have a responsibility to inspire all students to explore their God given talents in music, art, drama and dance.
As the Director of the Fine Arts Program for Joy Christian School, I am committed to nurturing a program that is first and foremost designed to bring honor and glory to the name of Jesus Christ. We want our Fine Arts Program to develop and encourage young artists who will use their gifts and talents in ministry, either professionally or as volunteers. Above all, it is our focus that God has given us the arts as a gift to be used for our enjoyment no matter what the level of talent.
I am privileged to be a part of a school that is intentional about providing a well-rounded education. The Fine Arts Program at JCS offers many opportunities for students to get involved in the arts at all grade levels.
