Supporting JCS
At Joy Christian School the development program is dedicated to supporting
the financial strength of the School and to promoting the School to its
constituents and the greater Phoenix community. With the help from our
parents, grandparents, alumni, past parents, faculty and staff, and friends, funds
are raised to benefit the School's operating budget, capital projects,
and endowment fund.
The development office coordinates fund-raising for annual giving, capital campaigns, major gifts; supports special events; and promotes the School through publications and public relations.
Volunteer support is vital to the success of these programs. If you are interested in assisting the development office with any of the above programs, please contact Michelle Reddy, Director of Development.
Annual Fund
Each year we provide an opportunity for family, friends, businesses, grandparents, donors, etc… to support the ongoing education program at Joy Christian School through an annual giving program. The cost to educate one student at Joy is not covered entirely through tuition and fees, additional gift support must be received to cover this funding gap. Additional funding support can then enrich and expand our school academic and extra-curricular programs.
Through 2008/2009, our annual funding challenge will be to generate funds for three important and specific goals. Your participation and partnership will provide a strong foundation for the future of Christian education at Joy! You may choose either to give your support as a one-time gift or as an ongoing gift commitment.
- Goal #1: General Fund and Tuition Assistance Support: $250,000
- Goal #2: Academic, Extra-Curricular & Support Programs: $50,000
- Goal #3: Capital Enhancements and Improvements: $50,000

Joy Christian School alumni are a valued and important part of our school. They provide the link between the past and present, give us momentum into the future, and embody, in their personal and professional lives, the lessons of an education at Joy Christian School — outstanding leadership, integrity, and service!
