Chinese Auction
The annual Chinese Auction/Buffet will be held on Friday, August 8 at 5:30 PM in the Worship Center. This is always a great time for the entire family! Tickets ($7 each) will be available at the Womenls Ministry table in the WC Lobby beginning July 6.
If you have any new items for children or adults, services, baseball tickets, movie tickets, gift certificates etc. that you would like to donate for the auction, please bring your items to Building 5 or call Linda at 623-561-0500 x382.
What is a Chinese Auction?
Bring family, friends, your appetite and a roll of quarters and be prepared for an evening of fun! When you arrive, you will be given a numbered paddle and a list of auction items. When an item comes up that you would like to bid on, toss a quarter in the middle of the table and hold your paddle high. The auctioneer quickly calls out numbers, and the last number called when the Chinese gong sounds, gets to keep the item. You will be given a list of all items and a numbered paddle to bid with when you come in. There are some great items such as movie tickets, gift cards, dinners, quilts, videos, kids items, crafts, games, gift certificates for hair and nail salons, etc. (Some special Items will be highlighted in yellow for children only) You won't want to miss this fast-paced fun evening!
